What Can I Make As A Chritmas Present For A Teenage Girl?
Im thinking craft type gifts, maybe something personalized, for my two sisters who live in another state. They are 16 and 14 years old. They are both into music and are definitely not “goody two-shoes” I think they both need something inspiring and cheery, but not “lame ” for a teenager. Anyone answer but Im mostly interested in what the teens have to say. Thanks!
A really cute purse. Cloth purses are in now, like patchwork and so forth. You can embellish them with beads and things. You can also get something like a curved lunch box, like the kind that construction workers would carry, and find photos of their favorite musical artists, or text abbreviations, or headlines or anything that is happening now and decoupage them onto it and line the inside with cloth. I had a friend who did this with wine labels. The purses would be unique to them but not geeky or I guess the right word is “lame” now.
my cousin just started college and when I was in college crafty-time was huge for me and my sorority. since im not overly girly myself, i really enjoyed making frames for myself and my friends that represented us and memories we were making. for my cousin who just started college i did the following:
canvas frame
acrylic paint (colors she likes)
college inspired Scrapbooking stickets.
I painted the canvas frame and then placed the stickets on top to decorate the frame and personalized it with her name and a few other stickers I had picked out. The Scrapbooking stickers come in different dimensions, shapes, sizes, and often they have so many types to represent anything your sisters might like. I recommend shopping at WalMart or Michaels craft stores for these items.
