for my best friends birthday, i have got her some chocolates, a gift set and a little friends teddy. but i want to make it seem abit more special seen as though we have been best friends for fourteen years i made her a memory scrap book to go with her christmas present and i’ve made her loads of personalised cards, has anyone got any other ideas that would make her present seem that little bit more special and that i could make today? thanks<3

She is going to be 14 and I have no idea what to get her. I want it to be special as last years prezzie was a bit naff. I have already made her a handmade card but i dunno bout her present. Birthday Ideas For You – Cakes And Presents!?

Ive read alot of people on here are after bday pressie ideas,or cake ideas…
I sculpt mini versions of people -personalised cake toppers -to either go on cakes (or next to them) or to give to the birthday person as a gift. The sculptures stand 18cm high & are sculpted to look exactly like the person. Not only hair colour & skin colour- but facial features are carved to resemble the person very closely, Its something they can look back on in years to come & remember what they used to look like and their interests -u can have them sculpted with their hobbies too – fishing rod, cat, shopping bags, golf club etc
I e just started this business here in Australia (no one else, i have found, does it) – and would like to know everyones opinion on it?
Would it be something you’d think about getting as a present 4 someone,or for yourself as a cake topper..??
Its also popular for wedding cakes.
Not sure how to go about advertising something like this- without huge costs to begin with ???

Personalised 21st Present Idea’s For My Brother?

My brother’s 21st birthday is this year and i want to give him a personal present but just don’t know what???
He gave me for my 21st a powerpoint DVD of childhood photo’s of the 2 of us which also had funny title pages and music along with it. I want to do something like this but don’t want to copy his idea, not to mention I’m not great at computers. I had thought of doing a scrapbook album of photo’s of us, family and his friends with comments from the all but don’t think a boy will like this.
Any suggestions would be great!!!

Ideas For Small Personalised Gifts I Can Add In To Christmas Presents?

I’m not very good with arts & crafts but I was thinking of making something nice to add in as small extras for my Christmas pressies.
Maybe along the lines of wine glass charms/soaps/ or even trying to decorate a shot glass – i.e. picking up plain shot glasses in the pound shop and trying to decorate them with jewels etc.
Does anyone have any ideas, or perhaps more useful, any experience of making anything like this?
I don’t know where to start!
