For a present, I want to have an artist paint a list of my friends favorite soccer plays on a large wall size mural type thing.

That is expensive, you have to find an artist, maybe the cheapest way to accomplish this is go to your high school and look up someone that is taking visual arts and ask them if they would be interested.
I paint and draw people, when I was in high school I did portraits of my friends who wanted to give them to their boyfriends or families as gifts, I was modest then and didn’t feel like I should charge money for something that I always knew how to do. But that was then, another way is put an ad in your local paper. Give the artist enough time to complete this project as it sounds huge.

Actually, my best friend Heather does that all the time, and she doesn’t charge as much as most people. She’s gone to school and is becoming an art teacher in schools. She’s really good, and can paint anything. I’m jealous of her, haha. Check out her website at http://www.heatherlynnwhite.com or email me if you want more contact information.
